CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Regardless of the style of yoga you choose, you will see life-changing results with a regular practice. A yoga practice anchored in a calm focus and steady breath does wonders to soothe the body and soul. Experience the harmony of body, mind and spirit with a consistent practice of yoga.
VENUS FLOW
Hot Yoga Class
This is a style of hot Hatha yoga mixed with a minimal amount of flow. It is taught in a room therapeutically heated to 105 degrees. You will practice a set sequence of postures, coordinating breath and movement that will build muscle strength, core strength and stamina. It is a 60-minute class that can be practiced daily and is perfect for all levels of students, as it will teach you all of the classic basic postures.

YIN YOGA
Hot Yoga Class
Smooth, gentle, slow, but still powerful, Yin Yoga is the antidote for our often Yang-y world. Less motion and more meditative, postures are held much longer in yin practices (anywhere from 3-6 minutes), in order to go deeper, past the larger muscles and target our connective tissues, fascia and ligaments. This 60-minute practice also helps us go deeper mentally, to slow us down and to help us to turn inward helping to connect mind, body and spirit. Props are often used in this class to help with each individual’s body.

GENTLE FLOW YOGA
Hot Yoga Class
Gentle Flow yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. This 60-minute class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance and flexibility. Some of these sequences will be floor based and some standing. Each class will end with an extended period of relaxation. This class is appropriate for anyone of any age, shape or size or level of practice. No experience or flexibility required.

VINYASA
Hot Yoga Class
This 60-minute practice allows for a lot of variety, but will almost always include sun salutations. Expect to move from pose to pose. Whether the class is fast or slow, includes advanced poses, or is alignment-oriented will depend on the individual teacher and their particular style. Some classes include warm-up stretches while others launch straight into standing poses. The one thing you can be sure of is the flow between poses. The rest is up to the teacher, but you can expect to go through a combination of poses.

This is our 60-minute VenusFlow class that incorporates the use of small handheld weights to add strength and cardio challenges to this already challenging class!

SLOW FLOW
Hot Yoga Class
Slow Flow classes are the perfect mix of challenge and ease. The practitioner finds a sense of calm and presence during this practice. Slow Flow yoga builds on the foundation that when posture are linked with the breath, the body becomes light and fluid and the mind quiets. This 60-minute practice will vary by instructor according to their style and creativity.

ZEN STRENGTH
Hot Yoga Class
Iron Yoga incorporates small hand weights, barre inspired movements, cardio and bodyweight strength work in a yoga flow to amp things up and break a sweat! Work all of the major muscle groups in this 60-minute practice for a full body workout with plenty of time to stretch it out and settle into a sweet savasana. Small hand weights ranging from 1-8 lbs. are recommended, but always feel free to join without them. Modifications will also be provided.

AMAZING GRACE

Amazing Grace Yoga is a specialty class geared toward those that are seeking a spiritually uplifting class centered on Christianity.
This 60-minute practice combines traditional yoga with praise and worship. The class begins with a devotional, gently flows through different yin postures and winds down with a prayer..
